Having a play around with some dungeon crawlers as I thought I'd give it a go this year. This is an excellent idea. Clean and well implemented.
It oddly doesn't always drop down the holes. If you rotate once, it does though.
Ultimately I've had to give up because my brain isn't smart enough! But really well done here. One of my favourites.

Very strange, what browser are you trying to play on?
I tried it in both Chrome and Firefox.
